Australian Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island people have used bush plants as medicine and healing for around 65,000 years. It is an important Aboriginal tradition which connects their culture to their land. This ancient knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation. Some plants used in bush medicine are unique to certain areas of Australia. Bush medicine includes fruit, leaves, seeds, roots, bark & fungi. 

Made from cotton fabrics and comes with a woven carry bag (30cm x 20cm)and information cards written by the artist Sherrin about each of the bush medicines.

This set  includes Goats Foot Plant, Desert Mushroom, Tea Tree & Kakadu Plum, Billy Goat Plum or Gubinge.

 

Royalties are paid to the designer artist  Sherren Gross of the Nunukul, Nughie and Gorenpul people from Mijerribah in  Quandamooka of the Eastern side of Australia. A story card is included written by the artist.

The product  is hand crafted by talented artisans in Fair Trade  sewing  and embroiderey organisation in India.
