This set shows the life cycle of the Wichetty Grub and comes with a story by the artist to tell all about each stage of the cycle from egg to Moth.
His creation is quite an amazing process. The journey begins with the adult ghost moth and its stunning appearance. The moth lays many eggs around the witchetty bush. While growing inside the tiny little eggs, the journey continues. What emerges from the eggs is reborn as the Jubin. You may know him by the witchetty grub an important source of food.
Royalties are paid to the designer artist Sherren Gross of the Nunukul, Nughie and Gorenpul people from Mijerribah in Quandamooka of the Eastern side of Australia. A story card is included written by the artist.
The product is hand crafted by talented artisans in Fair Trade sewing and embroiderey organisation in India.
