My boards are manufactured here in Woodgate. I use Australian Camphor Laurel slabs as my standard base board. The boards are first shaped and sanded. Then I laser engrave an image into the timber and cut an inlay to glue into the engraving.
Once dry, I sand the boards again to get a fine finish. I then seal it with several coats of liquid beeswax.
I use Titebond 111 (food safe) glue and liquid beeswax from Western Australia.
The boards can be used as serving boards, they are not suitable for washing in your dishwasher and should not be submerged under water.
